Athena 4 is fully compliant with the REACH regulations (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) which first came into force on 1 June 2007.

Lycos Limited has also spent the past two years developing its latest piece of software to cover other aspects of REACH as well as CLP/GHS which will become increasingly important over the forthcoming months. AthenaAdvantage covers all of the existing 11 modules available in Athena 4 but supplements these with additional tools for dealing with many of the more complex requirements of REACH and GHS.

Lycos Limited maintains a continuous update programme whereby all forthcoming legislation is studied and implemented in the software well in advance of enforcement dates thus allowing companies to make provision for up-and-coming changes to their products.

Although REACH and GHS constitute the biggest changes ever undergone in the manufacture and supply of chemicals, through careful planning and the use of well thought out legislative compliance software, companies will be able to cope with the transition in a manageable and cost effective way.
